Erudience, an AI automation agency.
Founded and led by Bishal Paul. Erudience ships n8n workflow automation, voice AI agents, and applied LLM products into production for teams that need them running every business day.
What Erudience is
Erudience is an AI automation agency. Founded and led by Bishal Paul. It is the agency every client engagement flows through and the operator behind the systems shipped under my name. Visit the agency at erudience.com.
Why the agency exists
Most AI work in the market sits at two extremes. On one side, agencies that resell tools they have never operated in production. On the other, solo freelancers who can prototype but cannot ship a system that runs unattended for months. Erudience is built for the space between: senior, product minded engineering delivered by a small, hands on team.
The agency stays deliberately lean. I take on a limited number of engagements at a time so every build gets senior attention from scoping through to production and beyond. When a project needs specialist partners for front end design, security review, or additional engineering hands, I bring in a trusted network rather than hiring to keep an office busy.
What Erudience ships
n8n workflow automation on cloud, self hosted, or hybrid. Voice AI agents on ElevenLabs, Vapi, and Twilio for inbound routing, outbound campaigns, and payment capture. Applied LLM features inside real SaaS products, with prompt versioning, quotas, and evaluation. AI powered support and internal operations tooling. SEO and marketing systems for AI products.

Where Erudience works
Erudience is UK based and works globally, with live production systems across telecom, retail and e commerce, energy, financial services, professional services, and agency operations. A typical engagement starts with a short paid discovery, moves into a defined build with a fixed outcome, and often continues as a retained operator role on the live system. The goal is never a demo. The goal is infrastructure the client can quietly rely on.
What Erudience believes
- Cloud or self hosted, whichever fits. The runtime is a design decision, not a preference. Clients get the setup that actually matches their compliance, cost, and control needs.
- Ship, then operate. Building the system is half the job. Keeping it alive in production is the other half.
- Keep humans in the loop. Every automated action that touches money, customers, or reputation has a clear approval or review point.
- Say what will not work. The most valuable answer in an AI project is often "do not build this."
Products built by Erudience
Alongside client work, Erudience ships and operates its own live products. push8 is the operations layer for n8n, covering monitoring, backups, and silent failure detection. Extinde, Automation Workflows, and ExcelErrorFinder round out the shipped catalogue. Every recommendation to a client is grounded in something the agency has already operated on its own bill.
How Erudience runs an engagement
Every engagement, whether a scoped build or a long running retainer, follows the same four phase shape. Nothing is invented per client. The shape is boring on purpose, so the interesting part can be the system itself.
- 01 · DiscoveryDiscovery, paid, one to two weeks
A short, paid discovery where we look at the actual workflow, the actual data, and the actual failure points. You leave with a written scope, a shortlist of what is worth building, and an equally clear list of what is not. If we do not end up working together, the discovery document is still yours to keep.
- 02 · Scoped buildScoped build, three to eight weeks
A defined build with a fixed outcome, a fixed timeline, and a named engineer on the file. No open ended time and materials. Weekly written updates, a shared board, and a live staging environment from week one. The output is a system that behaves in production, not a demo.
- 03 · LaunchLaunch, one to two weeks
Cutover into production with monitoring, alerting, backups, and a rollback path in place before the first live run. Human approval gates on anything that touches money, customers, or reputation. A written runbook so the on call engineer, whether it is me or your team, knows what to do at 2am.
- 04 · OperateOperate, monthly retainer
Retained operator role on the live system. Weekly health review, monthly written report on runs, failures, cost, and roadmap. Incident response inside agreed hours. Most engagements stay in this phase for six to eighteen months before the system is handed back to the client's team with documentation.
What a typical week looks like in operation
Retained operator work is the quiet half of the job and it is where systems earn their keep. The rhythm below is what most Erudience clients see week to week once a build has gone live.
- Monday
- Health review across every live workflow. Failure logs triaged. Anything flagged over the weekend gets a written note back to the client owner by end of day.
- Tue to Thu
- Build time on the current scoped project. Deep work blocks, no meetings before noon. Client stand up on Wednesday if the project asks for one.
- Friday
- Deploys, changelog, and the weekly written update to every active client. Retainer clients get a short forward look for the next week.
- On call
- Incident response inside agreed hours. Anything customer facing gets acknowledged within thirty minutes during working hours, and same day outside them.
Pricing shape
Exact figures depend on scope, data sensitivity, and whether the system will be operated by Erudience or handed back to your team. As a shape, engagements sit in one of four brackets.
- Discovery
- One to two weeks, fixed fee. Written scope, shortlist of builds, honest list of what is not worth doing. Credited against the build fee if we continue.
- Scoped build
- Three to eight weeks, fixed fee against a written scope. Payment split across kick off, mid point, and go live. Suits teams that need certainty on outcome and price.
- Retained operator
- Monthly retainer, minimum three months. Covers monitoring, incident response inside agreed hours, monthly written report, and a small allowance for changes. Priced per system, not per hour.
- Advisory
- Per session or short block. Suits founders and internal teams who need a senior second opinion on architecture, model choice, or a specific failing system, without a full build.
Discovery is the only fixed price entry point. Everything else is quoted against a written scope after that conversation, so nobody is guessing.
Frequently asked questions
Is Erudience an agency or a freelancer?+
Erudience is an AI automation agency, founded and led by Bishal Paul. The agency stays deliberately lean and brings in a trusted network for specialist work, so every engagement gets senior attention from scoping through to production and beyond.
Do you white label for other agencies?+
Yes. A meaningful share of Erudience work sits behind other agencies as their senior AI and automation team. Contracts, NDAs, and communication style all flex to the partner's brand where required.
n8n cloud or self hosted, which do you recommend?+
It depends on your data, compliance posture, and how much control you need over the runtime. Erudience ships on cloud, self hosted, and hybrid setups. The runtime is a design decision made per project, not a preference we impose.
How do you handle data that cannot leave the UK or EU?+
Model access is scoped per environment, region pinned where the provider supports it, and secrets held in a managed vault. For strict residency, workloads are run on self hosted infrastructure inside your region with a written data flow diagram signed off before build.
What happens if the automation breaks at 2am?+
Every production system ships with monitoring, alerting, and a written runbook. Retainer clients have an agreed on call window. Outside that window, alerts queue for the next working morning with a clear severity tag so nothing critical is missed.
Can you take over an existing n8n instance?+
Yes. A takeover starts with a short audit of workflows, credentials, error handling, and hosting. You get a written report on what is safe, what is fragile, and what should be rebuilt, before any changes are made.
Do you sign NDAs and DPAs?+
Yes to both, as standard. Erudience has a standard mutual NDA and a standard DPA ready to send. We are also comfortable working under a client paper set where the legal team prefers that.
How fast can you start?+
Discovery usually starts within one to two weeks of the first call. A scoped build starts as soon as the discovery document is signed off. Emergency takeovers for a failing live system can start within days when the situation genuinely warrants it.
Do you work with non technical founders?+
Often. A meaningful part of the work is translating a founder's operational problem into an AI automation scope that will actually pay back. Written updates are in plain English, not engineer speak.
What is the smallest project you take on?+
The smallest engagement is a paid discovery. Below that, a one off advisory session is usually a better fit than a build. Anything smaller than a scoped build tends to underdeliver for both sides.
